The ProSHIELD BIKE is a silicone rubber protective case for your Satmap Active 10 or Active 12 unit that and dramatically increases impact resistance and offers increased environmental protection against water, dirt and dust. It is ideal for use in extreme weather conditions and on uneven terrain.

The ProSHIELD BIKE fits tightly around the device and still allows the use of the Satmap Bike Mount (sold separately) for fixing it onto any bike.

Colour: Orange

Please note: The ProSHIELD BIKE does not protect against total immersion in water.

An update to my earler review (November 2012) of the orange Silicon cover and bike mount.

I'm still riding trails, 10+ muddy "offs" and one highside on tarmac later, the cover, mount and Active 10, are still working perfectly. Both bike and I have scars, the Active 10 doesnt.

I use this when motorbike trail riding. It's withstood many a splash from mud, puddles and debris. It's been dropped, trodden on and bashed and to date has protected my Active 10 perfectly. Highly recommended.
I bought the orange one so that I could find it in the mud or bushes when I come off. Suffice to say, the bike mount hasn't allowed it to fall off, so I guess that's a recommend for the bike mount too.
