Shipping & Returns

If you wish to return unused products, you must return them to the place of purchase, providing proof of purchase. Satmap cannot replace products purchased from retailers. The warranty policy of the place and country of purchase applies and Satmap will not be held responsible for returns or refunds of products not purchased from satmap.com.

If you are returning a Satmap GPS device for repair then please login to your Xpedition account to log your unit with the Technical Support team.

If you are advised by a Satmap team member to return a Satmap product such as map card or accessory, please fill out this returns form.

Satmap is a trading name of Satmap Systems Ltd incorporated under the Companies Act, registration number 5597195. Our VAT number is 876 5910 78. By placing an order with Satmap you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. The contract between us:

These terms and conditions govern all transactions between us and any sale of goods by us to you. Please read them carefully. When you place an order to purchase goods from the site, and we have approved your payment details, we will confirm that your order has been accepted by sending an e-mail to you at the e-mail address you provide in your order, or via post to you at the address you provide in your order. Our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us ("your Contract"). These terms and conditions, together with the prices displayed on our web site, delivery details, contact details and any document expressly referred to in these terms and conditions, set out the whole of our agreement relating to the sale of goods by us to you. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.


Description and availability:

All drawings, images, descriptive material, specifications and advertising on our web site are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description of the goods in order to assist your purchasing decision. All goods advertised are strictly subject to availability.


Prices and cancellation by us:

The price payable for goods will be stipulated on our web site at the time you place your order. The price is inclusive of VAT. Any delivery charges are extra.

We reserve the right to cancel your Contract if:

  • we have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered; or
  • we do not deliver to your area; or
  • one or more of the goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error; or
  • your payment is not authorised or is refused.

If we do cancel your Contract, we will notify you as soon as practical and we will re-credit to your account any sum debited by us from your credit card within 30 days of your order. We are not obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.


Cancellation by you:

When: You may cancel your Contract before the end of the 10th working day after you place your order, even if you have then already received the goods. You do not need to give us reason for withdrawing your order nor will you have to pay any penalty. The only circumstance in which you cannot withdraw from your Contract is where you have taken the goods you have ordered (or the ones in relation to which you want to withdraw) out of the sealed package in which they were delivered.

How: You may cancel your Contract by returning the goods you have ordered within 14 days after they are delivered. If we have dispatched your goods you will be responsible for paying the return postage costs.

Notice: To cancel your order you must notify us in writing to the following address: Satmap Systems Ltd, 4 Fountain House, Cleeve Road, Leatherhead, Surrey. KT22 7LX.

Deliveries: If you have received the goods before you cancel your order then, unless you have lost your right to cancel because you have taken the goods out of their sealed package, you must send them back to our contact address at your own cost and risk. If you cancel your order but we have already processed the goods for delivery you must not unpack the goods when they are received by you and you must send the goods back to us at our contact address at your own cost and risk as soon as possible. Once you have notified us that you are withdrawing your order, any sum debited by us from your credit card will be re-credited to your account as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your order PROVIDED THAT the goods in question are returned by you and received by us in the condition they were in when delivered to you.


Liability:

If you do not receive goods ordered by you within 28 days of the date on which you ordered them, we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us in writing at our contact address of the problem within 40 days of the date on which you ordered the goods. If the goods we deliver are not what you ordered, or are damaged or defective, or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, our only obligation will be:

  • to make good any shortage; or
  • to replace or repair any goods that are damaged or defective; or
  • to refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question.

To the extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss or damage. Our maximum liability to you arising from any product you purchase from us shall be the price you paid for the product. We shall have no liability to you for any direct or consequential loss that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control, which shall include, but not be limited to, acts of god, civil commotion, riots, flood, drought, fire, and legislation.


Delivery of goods to you:

We will deliver the goods ordered by you to the address you gave us for delivery at the time you make your order. We will try to deliver your goods within 28 days but delay in delivery is sometimes outside of our control. Any dates we give you for delivery are approximate only and we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges, or expenses caused by any delay in delivering the goods to you. You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered once they have been delivered to your specified delivery address and your payment has been authorized and cleared by the credit card company. Once the goods have been delivered we no longer have any responsibility for any loss or damage to the goods.

We will dispatch your order as soon as possible and aim for you to receive your goods no later than 5 working days after the order. However, this is subject to stock availability so it may take a little longer if we are awaiting a delivery from our suppliers. You will be notified as soon a possible if there is a problem with your order. If you have any questions regarding the delivery of your goods, please email sales@satmap.com, quoting your order reference number.

Please note that it is not possible for you to specify a time or date for delivery under some delivery options. However, you can nominate an alternative address if this is more convenient. Simply select and complete the alternative address section when you place your order.

3pm is the cut off for any orders that day. Orders placed after this will be processed the next day.

*Important: Please note that if you select the Special Delivery service, a signature will be required on delivery of the goods. Please make sure that someone will be available to sign for parcels on delivery.


Returns Policy and Procedure:

Unsuitable products:

We hope that you will be extremely happy with your purchase from Satmap. If you are not completely happy with the products that you have chosen you may return them to us within 30 days of receipt. We will be more than happy to offer you an exchange or, at our option, refund provided that the products are returned in unused condition and with the original packaging. Please take extra care to securely package the item(s) as we cannot accept products for a refund or exchange if they have been damaged in the post. Similarly, we cannot accept responsibility for any item lost in the post so we strongly advise that returns are sent by recorded delivery, or that you obtain a proof of postage/delivery certificate. We'll pay the cost of return delivery if your return is due to a Satmap error. Please contact us if you believe this to be the case as we can supply a freepost address.

Defective or faulty products:

We will within a period of 30 days exchange or refund in full any product that is found to have a confirmed fault or defect. This is subject to the goods not being misused or damaged in anyway. All products must be returned with all components. Refunds & Exchanges will not be carried out until the product has been returned in its original packaging with all accessories. Thereafter, all confirmed faults would be repaired as speedily as possible, and certainly within the period and terms of the product's individual warranty. This does not affect your statutory rights. All refunds issued will be the same as the tender type, however if this is not possible a cheque refund will be raised via our Head Office.

Zagg invisibileSHIELD Returns:

Zagg inisibleSHIELD comes with a manufacturor lifetime guarantee, Satmap will honor the first replacement for any damaged or defective Zagg products, however further replacments will be handled by Zagg. To recieve a replacement please call 0845 873 0101 and ask for the tech team, who will advise you on where to send your damaged Zagg. Please have your order number ready when you call.

If you are returning your parcel from outside the UK, please ensure that you pay the return postage, mark your parcel clearly with ‘Returned Goods’ and send to:

Please ensure that all parcels are properly packed and securely sealed before posting. Satmap will not refund shipping and postage costs.


General:

You acknowledge and agree to be bound by our Terms and Conditions of Sale. Failure by us to enforce any of these terms and conditions will not affect our right to enforce any of the remaining terms and conditions. If any of these terms and conditions are unenforceable (including any provision in which we exclude our liability to you), the enforceability of any of the remaining terms and conditions shall not be affected. The contract between us shall be governed by, and interpreted in accordance with, the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any disputes between us. These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time without prior notice to you.
