I’m sure you will be pleased to know that on Saturday the 4th June I completed my challenge of the London Nightrider 2016 100km cycle event. Although it was tough at times (and I couldn’t sit down for 24 hours afterwards without a cushion), the whole occasion was epic. You can see some strange things in London at night, notwithstanding around 5000 cyclists going around the streets dressed in lycra and hi-vis jackets. Although I like to think of myself as fit, as far as cycling goes I am a complete novice but I loved every minute of it, even the arduous hills around Crystal Palace at 4 a.m. Sunday morning!
I’m thrilled to say, that with your support, I managed to raise an amazing £565 for Parkinson’s UK.
Thank you so much for your donations and encouragement especially from those I have yet to meet. It really was so kind of you.
