What is a GPX file?

posted this on 3 Feb 2017

GPX is a file format that stores waypoints, POIs, elevation and time. The active 10 and 12 use GPX files for route information, as well as being used with Satmap-Xpedition (Xpedition also generates GPX files). This format is the standard for route data.
