We listen to our customers and take all feedback seriously. Wherever possible we incorporate this feedback into our software, resulting in new features and new functionality. By ensuring your Active 10 TREK GPS unit is always running the latest software you will get the most out the unit and it will be able to help you navigate in the great outdoors all the better.
When to update:
We do not have a set schedule for updates. As and when a new piece of software is available we will ensure everyone knows about it. The best way to stay informed is to make sure you have registered your unit so that you can receive e-mail notifications. Notices will also appear on the website.
How to update:
The software on Active 10 TREK can be updated by customers at home using their own computers. You need to install the SatSYNC software on your computer, and every time you plug your Active 10 TREK into the USB, it will check the software version you are running. If an update is required, it will detect this and give you the option to install. By following the simple on screen instructions, this should only take a few minutes.
