SatSYNC for Windows

SatSYNC is the software program that allows your computer to recognize the Active 10 TREK when it is plugged into the USB of your computer. This enables the import and export of various information.

(The information contained on the Active 10 TREK can only be seen on the SatSYNC window and not through Windows Explorer.)

Supported Operating Systems

32-bit and 64-bit editions of Windows XP SP3, Windows Vista and Windows 7.

SatSYNC cannot detect the Active 10 on a Guest Account in Windows XP.

Download Instructions for SatSYNC for Windows

1. Make sure you have permission to install programs on the computer on which you intend to install SatSYNC.
2. Check that you have completely exited from previous versions of SatSYNC.
3. Click on the "Download" icon above.
4. When prompted with the "File Download - Security Warning" select "Save" and choose a memorable location on your computer to save the file (eg My Documents, Desktop).
5. Once the download is complete double-click on the file to begin the installation.
6. Follow the instructions in the installation wizard.
7. You may be directed to the Microsoft website to download and install version 3.5, service pack 1 of the .NET framework before proceeding with the installation of SatSYNC. If .NET 3.5 SP1 does not work well on your machine, please let us know and contact Microsoft or your computer vendor for a solution.

If your security software or web browser blocks you from downloading the exe file above please try this ZIP file instead.

SatSYNC ZIP File

1. Download the zip file to a memorable location on your computer (eg My Documents, Desktop).
2. Right click on the windowssatsync.zip file and select "Extract All.."
3. Complete the Windows file extraction wizard and a window should appear containing the two extracted files.
4. Double click on the setup.exe file to begin the installation.
